Raw Milk vs. Pasteurized Milk

  1. I’m all for increasing the availability of raw milk, however, this is painfully inaccurate. Raw milk still contains lactose, and lactose is not an enzyme, it is a sugar. Suggesting raw milk is inherently better is unfounded. Cows that produce raw milk can just as easily be treated with hormones and antibiotics. Similarly, the cows producing pasteurized milk can be hormone, gmo, and antibiotic free. Pasteurization is a process of heating and sterilizing the milk and doesn’t necessarily coincide with any of the above.
