Best pitch for a snow removal company ever Read 1 comment Hi There Maarten Verkoren, I was wondering on a similar note,, Currently, it is 9 degrees outside in Chicago. Chicago averages 8 sub zero lows per winter when taking into account the last 30 years, but when using the 2000’s, that number plunges to just two per winter. Now, many forecasts are forecasting a low juast above zero – one or two degrees above zero. Not saying that it is not cold, it is just to put in perspective 30 degrees WARMER than our all-time record low of -27. Also, it has gotten colder in Florida than this. Our normal low used to be 12 for the date, now it is 16, which would put us no more than 15 degrees below normal. This is NOT an arctic cold front, more like garden variety cold. Keep up the posts!
